HAGL Joint Stock Company (HAG: HAGL) has explained the business result of quarter 3/2009 compared with quarter 2/2009 as follow:
* Profit before tax of quarter 3/2009: 480,547,250 thousand dongs
* Profit before tax of quarter 2/2009: 412,109,996 thousand dongs
* Profit of quarter 3/2009 increased 16.6% compared with quarter 2/2009.
Reasons:
* The company sold out 996 apartments of Hoang Anh Anh Tien Project at Nguyen Huu Tho St., Nha Be Dist., HCMC. for Union JSC-Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDVUC).
* The economic has been rehabilitated and the business activities were better than in quarter 2/2009.
* The result of selling apartments reached 985.3 billion dongs and increased 9% in comparison with that in quarter 2/2008 (903.4 billion dongs). Moreover, revenue from other products was VND123.5 billion and increased 50.8% in comparison with that in quarter 2/2008 (81.9 billion dongs).
* Other business activities happen normally without fluctuation.
